NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Moroni City Council will hold Public Hearings along with the City Council meeting on Thursday, November 17, 2022, beginning at 7:00 p.m. These will be held at the Moroni City Community Center, 80 South 200 West. 1. 7:00 p.m. Welcome - Motion to start meeting - Roll call of Council members 2. Public Hearing to receive public comment regarding the following proposed ordinance and ordinance amendments: - Accessory Dwelling Unit 10-16 Proposed ordinance An ADU is a second residence within the Residential Zone on the same lot as a single-family dwelling. Specific standards and requirements must be met before approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission. - Use and Storage of Recreational Coaches, Boats, and Boat Trailers 10-7-5 Proposed amendment: Removing current vague language and adding specifics on the use and storage - Landscaping 10-4A-14 Proposed amendment: Adding additional clarification of the requirements of landscaping 3. Ordinance: Accessory Dwelling Units - 10-16 Motion Amendment to ordinance: Use and Storage of Recreation Coaches, Boats, and Boat Trailers 10-7-5 Motion Amendment to ordinance: Landscaping 10-4A-14 Motion 4. Public Hearing to receive public comment regarding the following proposed fee increases: - Opera House Rental Fee A proposed $25.00 fee increased for each of the following specified uses: a. Lobby only use with or without food b. Entire building: 6 hours or all-day use A proposed $10.00 fee increase for the specified use for recitals - Cemetery Burial Servies Fee A proposed $200.00 fee increase for the weekend/holiday opening and closing of a grave A proposed $100.00 fee increase for the opening/closing of a grave after 3:00 p.m. any day - Garbage Pick-up Fee A proposed $1.50 increase 5. Resolution 2022 11 17A - Opera House Rental Fees A proposed $25.00 fee increase for each of the following specified uses: a. Lobby only use with or without food b.
