Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE Salt Lake County Library The Salt Lake County Library is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Salt Lake County Library tax on a $560,000 residence would increase from $118.89 to $149.38, which is $30.49 per year. - The Salt Lake County Library tax on a $560,000 business would increase from $216.16 to $271.60, which is $55.44 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Salt Lake County Library would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 25.65% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
