Central Wasatch Commission Special Stakeholders Council Meeting Central Wasatch Commission Office: 41 N. Rio Grande Street Ste 102, SLC, UT 84101 Wednesday, November 16, 2022 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council will hold a hybrid meeting at approximately 3:30 P.M., or soon thereafter, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. This meeting will occur both in-person and virtually via ZOOM. The anchor location is the Central Wasatch Commission offices. For those wishing to attend the meeting virtually, the public may register for the meeting through the following link. Once registered, meeting attendees will receive an email with a personal meeting access link and a call-in number for those whose only option is to call in. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5n078x1UQjyiyKt0KbJNqQ Please note: For in-person meeting attendees, masks are no longer required at the Central Wasatch Commission offices but are welcome for any attendees who prefer to continue using them. We will continue to monitor the situation take any reasonable precautions for the public and staff. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the special meeting of the Stakeholders Council scheduled for Wednesday, 16 November 2022; beginning at 3:30 p.m. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. 3:30 P.M. Opening 1. William McCarvill will conduct the meeting as the Chair of the Stakeholders Council. 2. The Stakeholders Council will consider approving the Stakeholder Council DRAFT Minutes of Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 (accessible here and attached). 3:35 P.M. Central Wasatch Commission Board Retreat Report 1. Co-Chairs Barbara Cameron and Will McCarvil will report on the highlights and outcomes from the 11/14/22 CWC Board retreat. 3:45 P.M. Stakeholders Council Recommendations 1. Little Cottonwood Canyon stakeholder memo (accessible here and attached). 2. Salt Lake County Public Safety stakeholder memo (accessible here and attached). 4:15 P.M. Central Wasatch National Conservation and Recreation Area Act (CWNCRA) Overview 1. Staff will provide stakeholders an overview of the 10.27.20 CWNCRA and answer stakeholder questions (accessible here and attached). 4:50 P.M. Open Comments 5:00 P.M. Adjourn Meeting 1.
