- The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has prepared a State Environmental Study (SES) to evaluate the realignment and extension of U-111 between 11800 South and Herriman Boulevard. The study is being done to address current and future growth in southwestern Salt Lake County and the surrounding areas. In advance of the public hearing, the Draft Study will be available for the public to review on January 23, 2023, on the study website, https://udotinput.utah.gov/u111extension. A public comment period will be open from January 23 through February 22, 2023. Comments can be submitted: -At the in-person Public Hearing on February 2 -Online at https://udotinput.utah.gov/u111extension -Emailed to u111extension@utah.gov -Mailed to U-111 Environmental Study, C/O Avenue Consultants, 6575 South Redwood Road, Suite 300, Taylorsville, UT 84123 The public hearing will be an open house format with study team members available to provide information and answer questions. An online meeting is being held February 1, 2023. The same information will be available at both the meeting and public hearing.
