- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday November 17, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers (Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah) to receive input on the following proposed petition(s): PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, GP22-001, proposal to amend Appendix B, Moderate Income Housing Plan, of the Box Elder County General Plan to bring it into compliance with new state legislative requirements. 2. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT, Z22-015, Request for a text amendment adding Section 5-1-360, Annexation Policy. Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the public hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 in the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse. Any questions should be directed to Scott Lyons, Community Development Director @ 435-734-3316.
