Tooele City Corporation Tooele Fence Improvements ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed bids for the completion of the TOOELE FENCE IMPROVEMENTS Project will be received by the owner at: RECORDS OFFICE - SUITE 227 TOOELE CITY HALL 90 NORTH MAIN TOOELE UTAH 84074 at prevailing local time until Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2 PM MDT The TOOELE FENCE IMPROVEMENTS (hereafter referred to as 'Project') consists of replacement and installation of fences and gates around existing buildings and structures. Completion of the Project shall be substantially completed by 180 days of Notice to Proceed. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be available Thursday, October 27, 2022. Bid documents will be posted by Tooele City. Please contact Laura at laurab@tooelecity.org for an electronic copy of the bid documents. No printed copies will be provided. The costs to prepare bids as described in the Bidding Documents are the sole responsibility of the Bidder. For questions contact Andrew Hobson, J-U-B Engineers: 385-290-9368, ahobson@jub.com. A virtual pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, 10:00 am MDT. A single site visit will be offered, date/time as coordinated between plan holders and City Staff. Meeting details will be emailed to plan holders. Representatives, Owner, and Engineer will be present at the pre-bid conference to discuss the Project. While attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory, prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. The last day for questions shall be Thursday, November 10, 2022. All questions will be answered via addendum. Only those who have their name on the plan holders list will receive addenda. A five percent (5%) bid bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality. Schedule Recap: Substantial completion date - 180 days from Notice to Proceed Contract documents first available - Thursday, October 27, 2022 Prebid conference - Wednesday, November 2, 2022 Last day for questions - Thursday, November 10, 2022 Final addendum - Friday, November 11, 2022 Bids due - Tuesday, November 15, 2022, 2 pm local time Tooele City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids presented.
