Notice is hereby given that the Syracuse City Disaster Preparedness Committee will participate in a meeting on Thursday October 27, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the large conference room of the Municipal Building, 1979 W. 1900 S., Syracuse City, Davis County, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss/review the following items: Welcome: Dan Merkling Call to Order: Dan Merkling Prayer: TBA Pledge of Allegiance Review Meeting Minutes: Brigham Welcome Guests/Visitors: Syracuse Connection Magazine articles: 1. Article for November issue was written by Duane and will be in November magazine Topic - Winter Care for Chickens. 2. Article for December issue to be written by Patrick. Topic - Neal said article would be focus on power outage when it is cold. 3. Article for January issue written by Jen Carver to be reviewed in October meeting 4. Article for February issue - TBD 5. Article for March issue - about Disaster Preparedness Exercise written by Dan Committee Business: 1. News of West District replacement and new rep for Fremont District. A. New District boundaries - Erin to get new map 2. CERT Class Update - combining with other cities? 3. RDAP Class Update 4. Report of Public Safety Open House on 10/13 5. Report on Emergency Preparedness fair at Syracuse High School 6. EOC update 7. Teaching CERT class at Syracuse High 8. Approval of city letter to be distributed by area reps and included in new move in welcome packet. 9. Thank You letter from Stand Independent Action Item Update: 1. 2023 Disaster Preparedness Exercise will focus on RDAP training 2. North Davis E.
