Minutes of Planning and Zoning Work Meeting held September 22, 2022 The meeting was held at the Oak City Town Hall located at 30 West Center beginning at 7:00p.m. The following were in attendance: TOWN OFFICIALS OTHERS Commission Chair Dave Spence None Member Dylan Finlinson Mayor Shim Callister Secretary Karen K. Lovell An invocation was given by Shim. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss planning and zoning priorities. However, a quorum was not present so no official business was conducted. Those present did discuss the planning and zoning priorities. They found them to be: Clearer definitions for Ordinance 2019-01 Modifying Title 10-7A of Town Code (accessory buildings) setting requirements for sheds, shops, and dwellings. Would dwellings placed on the same lot as another dwelling need to have their own water and power? Setting rules for tiny homes, modular homes, and mobile homes. Looking at the RR-1 .4 acre and RR-2 4 acre lot zoning and try to correlate them better. Better definitions for a simple subdivision compared to a complex subdivision. Looking into how long a trailer can be inhabited on a temporary basis. The meeting adjourned at 7.55 p.m. Respectfully submitted _________________________________ Karen K.
