Alice Wolfe-
Alice had a concern about a burn that the people with the property next to hers were burning weeds and then leaving it unattended. She stated that she left town and didn't know about it but when she returned to her house, she couldn't see anything because the smoke was so thick. She was concerned that it got too big for the two people that were manning the fire in the beginning. She got nervous that the fire was left unattended because of wind picking up. Mayor LeFevre stated that for someone to burn on their property, they are required to call the county to let the county know. The people burning did indeed do this. Mayor LeFevre could see her concern as the people should not leave the fire unattended. Mayor mentioned that the fire department did go out and inspect it. Alice would like to see how we can handle this situation in the future. The Mayor will contact Ron, Tropic's Fire Chief, to get his opinion regarding this issue and we will get back to her.
Harper Senary
Senary mentioned that there are some sidewalks on Bryce Way that start at the high school and end at The Guest House. He mentioned that it was approved to get the sidewalks finished. Senary would like to see the sidewalks finished for safety. Senary asked if there were any updates on the sidewalk on Bryce Way.
