Date: October 18, 2022 3:00 P.M. Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Kent Wilson Gil Conover -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of the October 4, 2022 Commission Meeting Minutes. NOTIFICATION selected Colton Allred as a part time Russian Olive Technician working 19.75 hours per week. Wage Grade 14. Approval of Brent Langston to serve on the Career Service Council, expiring 6-30-25. Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. Items pulled from the consent agenda. Safety Minute presentation by Nadine Thompson from the Assessor's Office. Awarding of the Safety Visa Gift Cards. Ratification of Acceptance of the Diverse Picture Book Bundles from Utah State Library. Ratification of the Beehive Consortium Memorandum of Agreement for OverDrive services for 2023 (Agreement #USL23-0103). Ratification of Hot to Trot(Spot) Grant Project Contract between Emery County Library System and Utah State Library (APP-021290). Discuss/Approve/Deny 2023 tentative budget for Emery County. Discuss/Approve/Deny 2023 tentative budget for Castle Valley Special Service District. Discuss/Approve/Deny amended billing service agreement between Emery County and JCI Billing Services. Commission/Elected Officials Reports. Adjourn. Any other business which may regularly come before The Board.
