CONSENT ITEMS 4.1 APPROVAL OF AGENDA Any point of order or issue regarding items on the agenda or the order of the agenda need to be addressed here prior to the approval of the agenda 4.2 APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 20, 2022, MEETING MINUTES 5. CITIZEN COMMENTS This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding your concerns or ideas that are not on the agenda as part of a public hearing. Please limit your comments to no more than 3 minutes. 6. RETURNING BUSINESS This agenda item consists of items that have previously been discussed in past Council meetings and brought back for further discussion or action. 6.1 DISCUSSION/MOTION: RATIFICATION OF EXPENDITURE FOR EMERGENCY ROAD REPAIR ON ADAMS AVENUE DUE TO WATER LEAK Council to ratify the expenditures associated with an emergency repair due to a water leak on 5900 South Adams Ave.. According to City Purchasing Policy, the City Council shall ratify any emergency contracts that need prompt execution because of imminent threat to welfare or safety of the public as soon as possible. 7. COUNCIL COMMUNICATION WITH STAFF 8. ADMINISTRATION REPORTS 9. UPCOMING EVENTS October 5-7: Utah League of Cities and Towns Convention ( Salt Lake City) October 10th: City Offices closed for Columbus Day October 18th: City Council Meeting 6:00 p.m. October 27th: Planning Commission Meeting (tentative) 6:00 p.m. November 1st: City Council Meeting 6:00 p.m. November 8th: Election Day (State) November 15th City Council Meeting 6:00 p.m. November 18th and 19th : Council Retreat 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. 10. ADJOURN THE MEETING: MAYOR ALLEN 11. ADJOURN INTO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING (THE RDA MEETING WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING)
