NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Roll call Pledge of Allegiance Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes for meeting held on August 2, 2022. Approval for payment of August invoices Business & Petitions (items to be voted upon) 1. Jed and Tammy Brewer-discuss water leak and high water usage 2. Eastman subdivision proposal to be voted upon-Lee Fox 3. Town hall-cracks in concrete under eves. Insurance adjuster has looked at it. Waiting for their report. Stephen Lamb has put in a bid to replace. Open Discussions: (5 minutes each) 1. Andrew Flake-Sunrise Engineering: report on south well 2. Lynn Wall Engineering-water study report Other items of discussion from town citizens or visitors (3 minutes each) Reports of town officers and boards Mayor Davis: 1. Preparedness committee report 2. Cemetery and town buildings cleanup day-Saturday Sept. 10. Meet at park at 9:00am 3. Clean up around fire station; repair water drainage 4. Dog licensing /rabies shots Water-Council member Rees 1. Report from Wendle Roberts-water master 2. Move fire hyd from behind Bryan Haslam home to street so it can cover other homes in the area. Roads-Council member Larsen 1. Progress of Peckham-repairing town streets Cemetery-Council member Thompson 1. Cemetery regulations-headstone requirements Parks-Council member Anderson Fire Dept.-James Roberts Residents who wish to address the town council on any observations or problems concerning Wales Town will be given three (3) minutes to speak. Additional time will be allowed at the discretion of the Mayor and Town Board. No decision will be made unless said citizen arranges for time on the agenda at least five (5) business days prior to the town council meeting. Town council meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Mayor: Byron L. Davis I, Kevin E.
