BUSINESS MEETING 1) Welcome and approval of the agenda. (Motion/Voting) 2) Approval of the August 8, 2022 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes. (Motion/Voting) 3) Discussion of Short-Term Rental Considerations - Planning staff will give a short presentation on short term rentals (STRs), including the benefits and costs to communities, and methods for regulating STRs. Following the presentation, the Commission may discuss its initial thoughts on STRs and give opinions about how the units could be addressed through ordinance. Planner: Morgan Julian (Motion/Voting) PUBLIC HEARING(S) Public Hearing to review the amendments to the Kearns Moderate Income Housing Plan, a supplemental document to the Kearns General Plan. These amendments are per new state legislation that was signed into law on March 4, 2022. The legislation became effective on June 1, 2022.
