- HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION AGENDA Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, 6:00 pm Providence City Office Building, 164 North Gateway Dr., Providence Ut Comments: The Historic Preservation Commission accepts comments: in-person, by email, and by text. In person: Providence City Office Building, 164 N Gateway Drive, Providence UT Email: providencecityutah@gmail.com Text: 435-752-9441 Call to Order: Howard Christenson Chair Roll Call of Commission Members: Approval of Minutes: The Historic Preservation Commission will consider approval of the minutes for August 3rd, 2022. Item No. 1: The Historic Preservation Commission will discuss and may take action on the Farming and Forgotten Fruit Way plaques, as well as the funding for them. It is estimated that each will cost $3,500. Item No. 2: The Historic Preservation Commission will discuss the current status and continued process of obtaining the Ev Thorpe painting from the Astle family. Agenda posted by Ty Cameron on 1st day of September 2022.
