Wales Town PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wales Town Planning and Zoning Committee will hold public meetings on September 20 and 27, 2022, to consider the following Land Use Regulation changes: (1) Eliminate the current SF1 Zone which allows for 1/2 acre minimum lot size. This change will require all lots created in the future to be one acre minimum. This change will not affect any lot smaller than one acre, which was properly created prior to this notice. (2) Adopt proposed Master Road Plan Map for Wales Town. This map shows proposed road extensions required for future development within Wales Town. Presently, the SF1 Zone includes all properties south of 200 North, east of 200 West, north of 200 South, and west of 200 East. Upon adoption of the above listed changes, the SF1 Zone would be changed to the A1 Zone. The above-mentioned public meetings will take place at 7:00 pm, at the Wales Town Hall, located at 150 N. State Street, Wales, Utah. Property owners may file a written objection to the inclusion of their property in the proposed zoning amendment no later than 10 days after the first public hearing. Protest letters may be mailed to Wales Town, HC 13 Box 4274, Wales, Utah, 84667. Each written objection will be provided to the Wales Town Council for review.
