NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS SOUTH OGDEN CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Notice is hereby given that the South Ogden City Planning Commission will hold public hearings to receive and consider comments on the following items: A. Subdivision Plat Review Process Found in SOCC 11-2-1 The amendments will eliminate the requirement for a preliminary plat approval and bring the review process in line with current practices. B. Amendments to the Home Occupation License Requirements in SOCC 10-19-3 The requirement for a home occupation license was eliminated in 2017; however, the wording in this portion of the code was overlooked. This change will correct the oversite. C. Building Height Restrictions in the R-2 and R-3 Zone Found in SOCC 10-7B-4(D) and 10-7C-4(D) The current R-3 Building Height Standards states there is no maximum building height. This will be corrected to say the maximum building height will be thirty-five (35) feet. The R-2 building height will also be changed from a maximum of twenty-seven (27) feet to thirty-five (35) feet. The public hearings will be held at 6:15 pm, or as soon as the agenda permits, during the South Ogden City Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2022. The meeting will be located at City Hall, 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403, in the city council chambers and is open to the public. Anyone interested may attend and offer comment.
