NOTICE is hereby given that the DAVIS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH will hold a public hearing in Room #2021 of the Davis County Health Department, 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Pursuant to Utah Code 26A-1-12(1), the Board of Health will hold a public hearing to afford interested persons an opportunity to submit written data, views, and comments regarding proposed changes to the Food Service Sanitation Regulation. The proposed changes include updating the name of Utah Administrative Code R392-102 from Food Truck Sanitation to Mobile Food Business Sanitation, removing the Limited-Use Food Establishment permit and associated requirements, specifying requirements for commissaries, adding language to specify that a food establishment permit is required if you advertise offering food for public consumption, revising the renewal language to require payment 30 days prior to operating each year, updating the fee schedule, including adding fees to review a HACCP plan, conduct a Residential Care inspection, and combining the plan review fee for Temporary Food Establishments into the permit fee.
Copies of the proposed regulation are available for review at the Administration Offices of the Health Department located at 22 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah, or the Utah Public Notice Website.
