- INTENT TO ISSUE DEBT that on September 1, 2022, the Board of Education of the Wasatch County School District, Utah (the 'District') intends to affirm a resolution of the District adopted on July 14, 2014 declaring its intention to enter into contracts with the Local Building Authority of Wasatch County School District (the 'Authority') related to the Authority's Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2022 (the 'Bonds'), and hereby provides an opportunity for comments from the public at public meeting of the District to be held on September 1, 2022, The District intends to enter into lease agreements and related contracts with the Authority related to the Bonds. The Bonds are expected to finance all or a portion of the costs of school facilities, improvements and equipment (collectively, the 'Series 2022 Project') that in part was rejected by the voters in a general obligation bond question in November of 2019. The Bonds have been authorized by the Authority to be issued in a principal amount of not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($150,000,000), to bear interest at rates not to exceed six percent (6.0%) per annum, to mature in not more than thirty-two (32) years from their date or dates. The Bonds are payable solely from the rents, revenues and other income received by the Authority from the leasing of the Series 2022 Project to the District on an annually renewable basis.
