Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, 18 August 2022, 7 PM Meeting Place: Community Room (108 S. 100 E.) Business Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve May meeting minutes: Second: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports 1. Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: Preservation (Chris Schow) 1. Update on Old Town Hall project and grant (due 31 August). 2. Assign new head of the cemetery project. Archives (Vacant) 1. Next inventory session is 7 September at 4:30 PM. 2. Assign new head of the Archives subcommittee. History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) Update on publications projects (Volume 2, Manila Church booklet, republication of 'By These Hands' book). Community Outreach (Denise Trickler) Any upcoming events or projects? Other Business Items 1. Karen Harbold moved to Tennessee last month (circulate thank you). 2. Discuss the activities we will host at the Heritage Festival booth and the help needed. (Laurel) 3. Discuss with Dianna the help we need from city council (Main Street Coalition education, additional funding for the Old Town Hall). 4. Conduct midway check-in reports on each of our 2022 projects. How are our 2022 goals coming along? Blockades? Are we on track to have these completed this calendar year-why or why not? Funds needed from our FY 2022 budget? (Those assigned as heads of each project will report.) 5. Review draft of our 2022-2023 FY budget. (After any revisions, we will vote to approve in September 2022 meeting.) 6. Vote on new logo choices. (Jeanne) Adjourn meeting and begin Heritage Festival Meeting Next PGHPC meeting: Thursday, September 15, 7 PM
