NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Report -Justice Court Judge – Ivo Peterson 2) Proposed Approval and Administration of Oath of Office to new Police Chief 3) Proposed Approval of Full Time Police Officer and other Related Matters 4) Citizen Request for Improved Drainage at Approximately 395 East 300 South- Mike Jensen 5) Discuss Upcoming Water Project and Proposed Approval of Plan Modification in Order to Replace Old Water Line on Main Street from 300 North to 300 South – Councilmember Steve Buchanan and Public Works Supervisor Donald Childs 6) Discuss Master Plan Development for Storm Drainage System, Water Infrastructure Upgrades and Needs Assessment – Proposed Approval to Pursue Grants for this Purpose- Jones and DeMille Engineering 7) Discuss Flood Damage, Possible Assistance and Application Process, Proposed Action for Repairs and Development of Long-term Mitigation Plans – Jones and DeMille Engineering 8) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, June 8, 2011, Open and Closed Sessions and Wednesday June 22, 2011, Open and Closed Sessions 9) Review 4th of July Celebration – Council Member Larry Jensen 10) Discuss Upcoming Seminars -Utah Rural Summit Session and ULCT September Conference – Mayor Lori Nay 11) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 12) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustment 13) Closed Session 14) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
