Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SUNSET The SUNSET is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The SUNSET tax on a $331,000 residence would increase from $120.52 to $228.47, which is $107.95 per year. - The SUNSET tax on a $331,000 business would increase from $219.12 to $415.41, which is $196.29 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, SUNSET would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 89.44% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
