- LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Plain City Planning Commission will hold three public hearings on Thursday, August 25, 2022 which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Plain City Hall, 4160 West 2200 North. The purpose of the first public hearing is to receive public comment on rezoning property owned by Taylor Trust and 317 Sycamore LLC located approximately South of 1900 North at approximately 3000 West. The petitioner has proposed that the property 167.83 acres be rezoned from RE-20 to RE-18.5 zone with a Residential Overlay with Amenities. The purpose of the second public hearing is to receive public comment on rezoning property owned by Brynlee Acres LLC-Rick Scadden located at approximately 3459 West North Plain City Road. The Petitioner has proposed that the property 9.39 acres be rezoned from RE-20 and A-1 zone to RE-18.5 zone. The purpose of the third public hearing is to receive public comment on the Conditional Use Permit on 6 acres with Senior Overlay at approximately 2800 West 2600 North. More information may be obtained at the City Office. Interested persons are invited to appear at the public hearing or to file written comments with the City Recorder at the same address. The hearings will also be accessible via ZOOM.
