1. Called to order 2. Approval of Minutes 3. Attendance. 4. July activities 5. August Activities a. Senior Council August 2nd 10 AM b. Lunch Served August 3rd with art class at 10 AM c. Lunch bunch August 4th Sizzler in the District d. August 10th and 11th Lunch Served with art class at 10 AM e. August 15th Bingo Pot Luck at 5 PM f. August 22 activity to be determined maybe fire department and police. g. August 24 and 25 lunch with art class h. Need to check to see if Thanksgiving point has 2 dollar Tuesdays in august we could possible go on the 30th. i. Need to think of possible craft class. 6. September activities a. Lunch bunch the 1st restaurant to be named b. Senior council meeting on the 6th c. Lunches served on the 7,14,15,21,22,28,29. d. Arts class available on Wednesday, 7,14,21,28 e. Quilting and puzzles will be available on the days we serve lunches. f. September 12 special Bingo sponsored by the Community that cares. i. Refreshments and prizes provided by community that cares. g. September 15 Service Project making pillow cases in conjunction with the community that cares 10 Am till 3 PM with and hour break for lunch. i. We will furnish some sewing machines, Iron and Ironing boards. We need our seniors to volunteer to help. We can use all skills. h. Bingo on the 19th pot luck 5 Pm i. September 26th event needs planning. j. Sign up list for things that our seniors may need done around their homes. i. Clean window wells, change smoke alarm batteries, wash windows, clean yard to get ready for winter. 7. Open discussion a. Advertising is good but how do we stress if you make a reservation you need to show up. b. Reach out to those faithful that attend most events, before reaching out to the neighborhood. 8. We need to encourage all to get vaccinated. 9. Assignment discussion. a. Budget for 2022, 2023 6,000 dollars 10. Renewal of Food services permits 11. Looking to the future what activities can we add a. Such as trip to Family History Center in Lehi b. Your suggestions are needed.
