Date: July 19, 2022 3:00 P.M. Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Kent Wilson Gil Conover -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of the July 5, 2022 Commission Meeting Minutes. Approval to appoint Kash Winn to the SRSSD#1 Board to serve a four (4) term. Approval to give Jorgen Allred a 3% wage increase for successful completion of his 6 month orientation period as Deputy II. Effective 7-25-22. Approval to give Dallon Cologie a 3% wage increase for successful completion of his 6 month orientation period as Deputy II. Effective 7-25-22. NOTIFICATION hired Jax Jewkes as a Seasonal Lawn Care Laborer working 29 hours per week at $14.00 ph. Effective 7-11-22 Approval to promote Ty Gordon as the Road Foreman. Wage Grade 22. Effective 7-25-22 Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. Items pulled from the consent agenda. Safety Minute Presentation by Tiffany Baker, Lead Assistant of the San Rafael Museum. Awarding of the Safety Visa Gift Cards. Ratification of Libraries Save Lives: Technology and Training for Elmo Library and Emery Library Project Grant Contract. Discuss/Approve/Deny the General Planning Services Agreement between Rural Community Consultants and Emery County for the project titled Emery County Pre Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan, including FEMA approval. Discuss/Approve/Deny Emery County's Beer Tax Funds Fiscal Year 2022 Annual Report. Discuss/Approve/Deny amendment #2 to Contract #203562 between Utah Department of Corrections and Emery County Sheriff regarding the housing of State inmates. Discuss/Approve/Deny contract between the State of Utah, Administrative Office of the Courts and Emery County Sheriff to provide Bailiff and Perimeter Security. Discuss/Approve/Deny Ratification of Contract between Emery County and Wall Concrete & Construction LLC for concrete work at Orangeville Library. Discuss/Approve/Deny MOU between Emery County and the SRSSD regarding use of Emery County Employees for Personnel and Human Resource Services including Emery County being a third party administrator for drug screening of SRSSD employees. Discuss/Approve/Deny transfer of funds from PTIF to invest with Moreton Asset Management. Commission/Elected Officials Reports. Adjourn. Any other business which may regularly come before The Board.
