DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Duchesne County, 734 N Center Street, Duchesne, UT, 84021 General Notice: Duchesne County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: East Fork Fire Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Project. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 520 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, UT, 84066, until Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids will also be discussed at the County Commission meeting and an award potentially made on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM. The Project includes the following Work: Phase 2 includes approximately 275,000 cubic yards of earthwork for water and sediment control basins, sediment removal, roadway shoulder cleaning, channel cleaning, flood control berms, and selective clearing and piling. The project includes 62,000 cubic yards of riprap rock mining, sorting, stockpiling, hauling, and placement as stabilization, cross vanes, post assisted log structures, and water crossings. Approximately 1,100 cubic yards of concrete grout for riprap water crossings and riprap stabilization on roadway shoulders. Installation of Owner supplied culverts, power pole protection, culvert cleaning, upland/riparian seeding, and selective tree removal are also items of work. Bids will be received for a single contract. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $2.8 Million The Project is expected to be completed by December 23, 2022. Obtaining Bidding Documents: Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated websites: www.jonesanddemille.com or www.questcdn.com Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated websites for a fee of $30.00. The designated websites will be updated with addenda, plan holders list, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated websites. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 520 West Highway 40, Roosevelt, UT, 84066. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays or may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated websites and the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon payment of $40.00 for each set, no part of which will be refunded. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. A Zoom link and phone number for remote participation will be included and sent out prior to the meeting.
