PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Gunnison City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on July 27, 2022 at 7:00pm in the City Council chambers of City Hall, located at 38 West Center Street. The purpose of this hearing is to review a proposed rezoning of approximately 1.1 acres from the R-2-10000 (minimum 10,000 s.f. lot residential zone) to the R4-7500 (minimum 7,500 s.f. lot residential zone). A two-lot subdivision was previously approved for this property. The new zoning would allow for smaller front lot lines and greater flexibility of lot dimensions due to the flood plain around the properties. The public is welcome to attend and provide comments at the hearing. If you are unable to attend but would like your comments shared with the Planning Commission, you may contact the City Administrator, Dennis Marker, by phone (435-528-7696) or email dmarker@gunnisoncity.org. Questions about the proposal may be addressed to the City Administrator.
