Opening Ceremony: Call to Order: Mayor Alder Roll Call of City Council Members: Mayor Alder Pledge of Allegiance: Opening Remarks/Prayer: Council Reports: Items presented by the City Council members will be presented as informational only; no formal action will be taken. Approval of the minutes: Item No. 1 Approval of the Minutes: The Providence City Council will consider for approval the minutes of June 15th, 2022. Public Comments: Citizens may express their views to the City Council on issues within the City's jurisdiction. The City Council accepts comments: by email providencecityutah@gmail.com, and by text 435-752-9441. Public Hearings: No Public Hearings Resolutions/Ordinances: Item No._____2___ Resolution 012-2022 - Providence City's Culinary Water Master Plan: The Providence City Council will consider for adoption a resolution approving the City's Culinary Water Master Plan from Sunrise Engineering. Agreements, Contracts, Bid Awards: Item No.____3______Property acquisition for sidewalk along 100 S Roadway: The Providence City Council will review, discuss, and may take action on acquiring an additional 8 feet of property along 100 South (Parcel 02-096-0009) with the condition by the owner that Providence City agrees to install a sidewalk within this piece of property. Item No.______4_______Park View Heights Development and Public Improvement Agreement: The Providence City Council will review, discuss and may take action on a development and public improvement installation agreement for Park View Heights Subdivision. In keeping with the City's water master plan, the city would like to install a 10' water line in conjunction with this development. The developer has agreed to install the line along with their development. Plans and Other Business: Item No.___5_____City Council's Involvement in City Celebration: The Providence City Council will hear a report from the Providence Sauerkraut Days Committee regarding plans for the upcoming city celebration and will discuss what the City Council would like to do to be involved (i.e., Council Float?) Study Items: Item No. 6 Solid Waste & Recycling RFP: The Providence City Council will review and discuss but will not take action on a proposed RFP for Residential & Commercial Solid Waste & Recycling Collection Services. Staff Reports: Items presented by Providence City Staff (including but not limited to: Public Works Director, Administrative Services Director, City Recorder, and City Manager) will be presented as information only. Executive Session Notice: The Providence City Council may enter into a closed session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation as allowed by Utah Code 52-4-205(1)(c). The Providence City Council may enter into a closed session to discuss professional competence or other factors allowed by Utah Code 52-4-205(1)(a). The Providence City Council may enter into a closed session to discuss land acquisition or the sale of real property Utah Code 52-4-205(1) (d) and (e).
