RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): - Ryan Hughes and Devin Hubbard are seeking a Rezone of approximately 2.61-acres located at 12984 South 4490 West. The property is currently zoned RR-22 (Rural Residential with 1/2-acre minimum lots). The requested zoning is R-3 (Single Family Residential with 14,000-sf lots). The rezone request for R-3 is consistent with the General Plan for the area which has the designation of 'Low Density Residential'. This meeting is open to the public. The Planning Commission has forwarded this rezone request to the City Council with a recommendation for approval. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Audio and written minutes will be available following the meeting. Public comment for this item may be submitted via email to planning@rivertonutah.gov or by phone to 801-208-3149. All comments submitted before noon on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the City Council. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
