NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
FOR DAVIS COUNTY'S 2022-2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN & CHANGES TO THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. a public hearing will be held in Room 303, Commission Chambers, Administration Building, 61 South Main Street, Farmington, Utah, before the Davis County Commission to accept public comments on the following:
The draft 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan (the Plan) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for funding received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). From June 30, 2022 until July 31, 2022, the Plan will be available for public review upon request.
The County is responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of the Plan in accordance with the CDBG program guidelines. The Plan covers the one-year period from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
A substantial amendment to the Five-Year Consolidated Action Plan, whereas, the County, will not seek to re-certify as an Urban County for Program Year 2023.
Prior to approving any recommendations, the Davis County Commission will consider and review all public comments, as well as recommendations provided by the Community & Economic Development Department. This is the second of two public hearings on this matter. If you are unable to attend, written comments may be submitted to rsteinbeigle@daviscountyutah.gov.
