Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SYRACUSE CITY The SYRACUSE CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The SYRACUSE CITY tax on a $535,000 residence would increase from $372.23 to $496.99, which is $124.76 per year. - The SYRACUSE CITY tax on a $535,000 business would increase from $676.78 to $903.62, which is $226.84 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, SYRACUSE CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 33.54% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
