CITY COUNCIL MEETING AMENDED AGENDA City Council Chambers - 75 West Center, Fillmore, Utah Tuesday June 21, 2022 6:30 PM 6:30 PM CALL TO ORDER and Pledge of Allegiance ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS - Approve Minutes of the Previous Meeting - Approve Purchase Orders, Payroll, and Payment of Bills - Licenses and Permits PUBLIC HEARING - Public hearing to receive public comment regarding Ordinance 22-14, an ordinance enacting a city option sales and use tax for highways or to fund a system for public transit under Utah Code Ann. § 59-12-2215 COMMUNICATIONS AND REQUESTS a) Russell Anderson to discuss Fillmore City Solar Power Policy b) City Council discussion regarding possible adoption of some or all of Dixie Power service standards c) Terri Hoover - Fillmore City I-15 billboard, freeway sign advertising request OTHER BUSINESS BROUGHT BEFORE COUNCIL a) Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 22-14, an ordinance enacting a city option sales and use tax for highways or to fund a system for public transit under Utah Code Ann. § 59-12-2215 b) Discuss and possibly adopt Resolution 22-09 Amending the Operating Budgets for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2022 c) Discuss and possibly adopt Resolution 22-10 Adopting the Operating Budgets for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2023 d) Discuss and possibly approve Fillmore City freeway sign permit for Terri Hoover e) Discuss and possibly approve engagement letter dated June 7, 2022 between Fillmore City and Gillmore Bell, engaging Gillmore Bell as special counsel regarding a proposed Public Infrastructure District (PID) f) Discuss and possibly accept annexation petition for the proposed Retreat Annexation located at approximately 800 South Highway 99 COUNCIL/CITY ATTORNEY/MAYOR DEPARTMENT REPORTS (Identification of issues for consideration on future agendas)
