Wednesday, June 8, 2022 - in the Kanosh Town Hall located at - 55 North Main Street, Kanosh, Utah. Public Hearing: - *As mandated by law, a Public Hearing will be held prior to the adoption of the 2022-2023 fiscal year final budget, the public hearing is held for the purpose of receiving public comments in reference to the budget. The hearing will be scheduled at 7:00 pm. (Regular Council meeting to follow) - WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER OF A KANOSH TOWN PUBLIC HEARING - WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER OF REGULAR KANOSH TOWN PUBLIC MEETING Mayor Scott McDonald a. Opening ceremonies-Audience invited to participate (three-minute limitation each). b. Pledge of Allegiance c. Approval of payment of Minutes of last month's meeting d. Approval of payment of Warrants for current meeting e. CERT: Geri Minton f. Fire Department: Fire Chief Lorin Shumway g. Planning and Zoning: *Building Permits REVIEW, DISCUSSION AND ACTION ON .... Approval of 22-23 fiscal year Budget: Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members 2021-2022 Budget Opening: Action: Adopt resolution 060822 Resolution to transfer funds from the electrical fund balance and balance the 2021-2022 fiscal year budget. COUNCIL REPORT ON DEPARTMENTS: i.e. park, cemetery, electrical, roads, & water Utility Delinquency Review: PUBLIC COMMENTS (Three Minute Limitation Each) FOLLOW UP ON OLD BUSINESS 24th of July: Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Corn Creek Project update Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Culinary Well Project update Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members CLOSED SESSION (if necessary) to DISCUSS one or more of the following: the character, professional competence or physical or mental health of an individual; collective bargaining pending or reasonably imminent litigation, the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, the sale of real property, including any form of water rights or water shares, deployment of security personnel, devices or systems investigative proceedings regarding allegations of misconduct. ACTION ON CLOSED SESSION ADJOURN In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids and services for these meetings should call the City Offices at 435-759-2415, giving at least 48 hours advance notice. Meetings of the Kanosh Town Council may be conducted by electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Annotated, Section 52-4-207. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained by telephone or other electronic means and the meeting will be conducted pursuant to the Kanosh Town resolution 061318 [electronic meetings. CERTIFICATE OF DELIVERY The undersigned duly appointed Town Recorder certifies that a copy of the forgoing 'Notice and Agenda' was delivered to each member of the Kanosh Town Council, posted if 4 separate locations in Kanosh Town and published on the Utah Public Meeting Notice website.
