Mammoth Creek Special Service Fire District Minutes for May 28, 2022 Board Meeting at the Fire Station Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Paul Martino at 12PM Present: Paul Martino, Dale Askew, Wayne Koons (via telephone conference), Carl Radomski. Absent: Dave Johnson and Pam Borgos. Others Present: Fire Chief Mary-Jane Ensor, Buck West and Josh Soper. Review Last Meetings Minutes: After reviewing the minutes from our previous meeting Carl Radomski moved for approval with a second from Dale Askew. Motion passed. Board Member Status: Dick West was nominated to fill the vacant Board Member position vacated by Lance Griffith. Dick's nomination was voted upon to become a member to the Board once the Garfield County Commission approves his nomination. Carl Radomski moved for approval with a second from Dale Askew. Motion passed. Financial Reports: Dale Askew presented the Interim Financial Report and Comparison to Budget for the period ended December 31, 2021. Dale also presented the Small-Entity-Financial-Report for the year ended December 31, 2021 and informed the Board that The volunteer Firefighter Fund had contributed $19,097 to the cost of the Fire District's Paving project which was reflected in the Fund Balance Section of the financial report. This contribution left a remaining Volunteer Fund balance on the Committed line item of $38,182. Dale then presented the Interim Financial and Comparison to Budget report for the period ended May 28, 2022. Carl Radomski moved to accept all the reports presented as stated with a second from Wayne Koons. Motion Passed. Board Member Training: The Board Members present were encouraged to complete the required training which could be accessed at the State Auditor's website: training.auditor.utah.gov. Board 2022 Meeting Schedule: All scheduled meetings for 2022 will be held at the fire station. Sunday September 4, 2022 at 9AM. Saturday October 29, 2022 9AM at the fire station including a public hearing on next year's 2023 Budget. Adjourn: Meeting adjourned at 2:30PM.
