5- TRANSPORTATION PLAN UPDATE AND REQUEST FROM SEVIER COUNTY AND JONES AND DEMILLE
Mr. Johnson reported that he had been contacted by Jones and DeMille who had been hired by Sevier County to update the transportation plan and to identify problem areas surrounding Aurora City where changes to the transportation plan could be made. The Council generally felt that currently the roads coming into and out of Aurora were the best that they could be. One area of concern was the Lost Creek intersection, a turning lane would be helpful on the busy highway. Many residents who live in the East side of Aurora and are heading toward Richfield and returning from Richfield feel that the intersection can be dangerous.
