PUBLIC NOTICE SIGURD TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY NOTICE OF MEETING TO HEAR LETTERS OF INTEREST Public notice is hereby given that one seat on the Sigurd Town Council is vacant. Sigurd Town Council will hold a special meeting Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sigurd Town Hall located at 595 North State Street, Sigurd, Utah, for the purpose of appointing a new councilmember to fill the term expiring January 2026. The vacancy will be filled by an applicant or other qualified Sigurd Town resident. Individuals interested in submitting their names for consideration must be at least 18 years old, a United States Citizen, a resident of Sigurd Town for the past twelve (12) months, not convicted of a felony, to have the right to hold elective office. To submit your name for consideration, please submit a letter of interest to the Sigurd Town Clerk at 595 North State Street, Sigurd, Utah 84657. Letters of interest shall include the applicants name, address, telephone number, and a brief explanation of why you wish to be considered for the position.
