Clearfield City 2022 Street Maintenance ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2022 Street Maintenance will be received electronically by Clearfield City, through SciQuest before the bid opening date and time. Prior to submitting a bid, the contractor must register as a vendor on Sciquest. Clearfield City is not responsible for vendor accounts or access to Sciquest and vendor is encouraged to allow sufficient time for the process when submitting bids. A public bid opening will be conducted but attending in person will not be possible. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm local time on June 30, 2022, at which time the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a live video stream to all participants. The Project consists of street improvements on 1000 West, asphalt mill and fill, cape seal, slurry seal, parking lot seal coats, and street striping. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of Section A: $771,100, Section B: $421,228, Section C: $442,390, Section D: $69,448.50, Section E: $20,762, and Section F: $69.894.50 for a Total of $1,794,823. Bids will be received for possible multiple contracts on individual Sections in the Bidding Schedule. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be uploaded to SciQuest prior to the date and time listed for the Bid Opening. Scanned copies or digital copies of each document are acceptable. Digital photographs will not be accepted. All who are interested may participate in the bid opening electronically through Zoom Meeting either online: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81623459304 or by calling 1 253 215 8782 and entering Meeting ID 816 2345 9304. No pre-bid conference will be held. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted on SciQuest no later than 5:00 pm on June 27, 2022. Bidding Documents may be acquired online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
