Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy called the meeting to order at 5:30pm. PRESENT: Chairman Klansey Bateman- PHONE Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy Boardmember Adam Palafox Boardmember Vrayen Soriano Boardmember Randy Croasmun Audience: Judey Doudna, Humberto Cervantes, Judith Reyes, Steve Reyes 1. Proposed Major Subdivision for 223 Skyhawk Drive. Wendover, Utah Parcel 08-000- A-0001 (1.82 acres), Parcel 08-000-A-0006 (1.73 acres) total of 3.55 acres to be combined and divided into 4 lots. Lot 1A: 16529.6 Square Feet to Jose A Palafox, Lot 1B: 16504.8 Square Feet to Mauro Palafox, Lot 1C: 61255.6 Square Feet to Saul Mendoza and Lot 6A: 60550.4 Square Feet to Martin Martinez. Wendover resident Judey Doudna brought up her concerns regarding the use of development for subdivision. As she had concerns to last time something was attempted at these parcels involved horse corrals. Board Member Vrayen Soriano replied that this is for subdivisions and if use doesn't match zoning they will have to return for conditional use or zoning change. Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy closes public hearing at 5:39pm. AGENDA 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER. Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy called the meeting to order at 5:40 2. ROLL CALL. Present: Chairman Klansey Bateman- PHONE Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy Boardmember Adam Palafox Boardmember Vrayen Soriano Boardmember Randy Croasmun Secretary Sasha Palafox Audience: Judey Doudna, Humberto Cervantes, Judith Reyes, Steve Reyes 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy 4. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES RECORDED FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 15TH, 2022. Motion made by Board Member Vrayan Soriano, seconded by Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy to approve the minutes recorded for the Wendover City Planning and zoning meeting held on February 15th, 2022. All in favor, Motion passed. 5. APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL FOR PROPOSED MAJOR SUBDIVISION FOR 223 SKYHAWK DRIVE, WENDOVER, UTAH. PARCEL 08-000-A-0001 (1.82 acres), PARCEL 08-000-A-0006 (1.73 acres) TOTAL OF 3.55 ACRES TO BE COMBINED AND DIVIDED INTO 4 LOTS. LOT 1A: 16529.6 SQUARE FEET TO JOSE A PALAFOX, LOT 1B: 16504.8 SQUARE FEET TO MAURO PALAFOX, LOT 1C: 61255.6 SQUARE FEET TO SAUL MENDOZA AND LOT 6A: 60550.4 SQUARE FEET TO MARTIN MARTINEZ. Motion made by Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy, Seconded by Board Member Randy Croasmun to table item till next meeting. Due to unclarification and Subdivision application not being complete. 7. COUNCIL LIAISON BRANDON GROSSMAN UPDATES AND MATTERS RELATED THERETO. Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy asked Council Liaison Brandon Grossman for update on 543 Moriah Ave; Bill Ratliff. Brandon let planning and zoning know we are awaiting fire Marshall Inspection, Public Safety Director Ken Quirk is to get in contact for scheduling. 8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. None. 9. NEW BUSINESS. None. 10. COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE. Wendover Resident Steve Reyes speaks on behalf of Judith Reyes, they were concerned due to receiving a high water bill claiming they had no leak. Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy responded that this was only planning and zoning, if they would like to join City Council meeting on April 6th they are welcome to and bring concern to City Council attention. 11. NEXT SCHEDULED PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 2022 AT 5:30PM. 12. ADJOURNMENT. Motion made by Vice Chairman Mariah Murphy, seconded by Chairman Klansey Bateman to adjourn regular meeting. All in favor, Motion passed.
