Date: May 3, 2022 3:00 P.M. Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Kent Wilson Gil Conover -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of the April 19, 2022 Commission Meeting Minutes. NOTIFICATION selected Shaunnie Price as a part time Assistant Librarian in Huntington, working 19 hours per week. Wage Grade 7 NOTIFICATION selected Marcy Vetere as a part time Assistant Librarian in Green River, working 19 hours per week. Wage Grade 7 Approval to start the recruitment effort for a 3/4 time Justice Court Clerk I working 29 hours per week with prorated vacation, sick, holiday and retirement benefits. The existing part time position working 19 3/4 hours per week will be dissolved. Approval to rehire Deegan Minchey as a Seasonal Head Lifeguard working 29 hours per week. Wage Grade 5 Approval to hire Lilli Tuttle and Shannon Johnson as Seasonal Lifeguards working 29 hours per week. Wage Grade 3 Approval to rehire Kagan Hiatt as a Seasonal Lawn Care Laborer working 29 hours per week. $14 per hour. Approval to appoint Dale Curtis to the ECSSD #1 Board. Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. Items pulled from the consent agenda. Ratification of Non-Disclosure Agreement between Emery County and Zions Bank. Discuss/Approve/Deny the county's medical, dental, and vision insurance renewal for plan year July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. Discuss/Approve/Deny award of bid, and approval of contract for weed control and fertilization treatments between Emery County and Lawn Tech. Discuss/Approve/Deny deferral agreements for Shanondoa (Cochise) Murray for and in behalf of Phillip J. Zwahlen (01-0159-0025) and for and in behalf of Carol Cline (01-0159-0026) for the payment of real property taxes that five (5) years past due. Discuss/Approve/Deny request for donation to the Castle Country Fuller Center Golf Tournament Fundraiser. Discuss/Approve/Deny acceptance of Notice of Award from the NRCS on the PL566 Emery County-Cottonwood Creek-Joe's Valley Watershed Project. Discuss/Approve/Deny acceptance of Notice of Award from the NRCS on the EQP Project 5137, UT, Emery County, Summer Monsoon Flash Flooding. Discuss/Approve/Deny Resolution amending the Emery County Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual adopting Junteenth as a recognized holiday and a Bereavement Policy. Discuss/Approve/Deny selling the 2006 Silver Chevy Impala to the Library System, as is, for $3,000. Discuss/Approve/Deny 2023 CIB Prioritization/Projects List. Commission/Elected Officials Reports.
