La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, May 4, 2022, 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah A. Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Agenda 3. Meeting Minutes: April 6, 2022, work and regular meeting 4. Checks and Invoices: $86,596.45 C. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve the revised preliminary and final plat for Cottonwood Hollow Subdivision Phase 3, a 10-lot subdivision located on 740 North and Main Street. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution No. R-2022-10; a resolution revising the City's Personnel Policy to only include language relative to the exemption of Tier 2 elected officials and members of advisory boards, commissions, and committees of the City from Utah State Retirement benefits. 3. Discussion on the possible purchase of private property between the Zion View Estates and Cottonwood Hollow Subdivisions for trailhead access. D. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 15 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. F.
