- SALT LAKE CITY PLANNING DIVISION APPEALS HEARING AGENDA Thursday, May 12, 2022 5:00 p.m. This meeting will be held virtually This Meeting will not have an anchor location at the City and County Building. Appeals Hearing Officer, Planning staff, and Appellant will connect remotely. Comments are limited to the Hearing Officer, the Appellant, the Applicant and City Staff. 1. Nonconforming Change of Use from Retail Goods Establishment to Alcohol Bar Establishment at approximately 1058 East 900 South - William Hamill, representing the property owner TN Broadway Properties LLC, is requesting a determination that the proposed use of 'alcohol bar establishment' is sufficiently similar to an existing nonconforming use of 'retail goods establishment', to allow the change of use on the subject property. The property is located in the SR-1 Special Development Pattern Residential District and within City Council District #5, represented by Darin Mano. Partovi Variance Request at approximately 835 W Genesee Avenue - Ali Patrovi, the property owner, is requesting a variance to construct an addition to a single-family home that encroaches into the front and side yard. The subject property is located in the R-1-5000 Single Family Residential District and within Council District 2 represented by Alejandro Puy. The Appeals Hearing Officer reserves the right to change the order of agenda items as deemed necessary.
