NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Heights Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to receive comments on a proposed ordinance update relating to the Sensitive Lands Evaluation & Development Standards (SLEDS) ordinance (Section 19.72 of the zoning ordinance). This City-initiated ordinance is being proposed to incorporate current data and industry best practices related to development within areas that are potentially susceptible to naturally occurring hazards.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. Interested community members may attend and/or make public comments in person or via Zoom.

For those who cannot attend the meeting in-person or virtually, but still wish to provide public comment, written comments should be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on May 3rd, 2022- the day before the meeting. These comments, as well as any other project inquiries, should be directed to Andy Hulka, Senior Planner, at ahulka@ch.utah.gov or 801-944-7065.
Please note that written comments received by the above deadline will be entered into the record and distributed to the Planning Commission prior to the meeting. Comments received after this deadline will be distributed to the Commissioners after the meeting.
