Town Council Regular Meeting Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 7:00 pm Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Genola will hold a public meeting in the public safety building located at 455 N. Main on the above date. The Council meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where action may be taken on the agenda items. Comments will be limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes at the discretion of the Mayor. State Law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. New Business Discussion and possible action with Chief McMullin for a raise to the Firemen's compensation. Attachments: Compensation Discussion and possible action on a rezone from A-1 Agricultural to R-1 Residential zone for property owned by Mike Olsen Parcel # 29.016.0048 located at 1922 N. Lake Road in Genola. Attachments: Mike Olsen Map Discussion with Alisa Morford on the town's emergency preparedness plan. Discussion and possible action with Danielle Lundberg on the possibility of adding pickle ball to our basketball court in the park. Discussion and possible action on resolution 2022-03 an Amended & Restated Final Bond Resolution: A Resolution authorizing the issuance and confirming the sale of taxable water revenue bonds, Series 2022 in the amount of $2,273,000, for water system improvements, and related improvements; authorizing all related documents and action; and related matters. Attachments: Final Bond Resolution Discussion and possible action on awarding the bid to drill the Quarry Hill Well. Attachments: Bid Sheet Discussion and possible action on awarding the bid for the Quarry Hill Tank and well house Attachments: Tank & Well House Discussion and possible action on awarding the bid to rent the surplus irrigation water owned by the Town for the 2022 season. Discussion and possible action with Ashley Shepherd who will present the budget for the Miss Genola pageant for the year 2023. Discussion and possible action on awarding a qualifying financial audit firm to provide auditing services for the Town of Genola. Discussion and possible action to ratify a motion taken at the March 16th Town Council meeting to have Rhino Pumps lower the pump an additional 40 feet in the Town's well for the amount of $10,590.00. Attachments: Detailed Invoice Discussion and possible action on Resolution 2022-04 MAG Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan. Attachments: MAG Disaster Mitigation Plan Training with the Council on open and public meetings with Josh Nielsen the Town's Legal Counselor. Council Comments Mayor Marty Larson: PC has scheduled a field trip for May 5th at 5:30 to review the road map for the general plan. Councilman John Savage Councilwoman Lori Christensen Councilman Neil Brown Councilman Hale Robison Motion to Adjourn The Town Council may exercise their right under Utah Code Annotated, 52-4-207, to convene and conduct an electronic meeting.
