RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE
The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 28, 2022 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s):
- Clark Roundy is seeking approval for a home-based business, 'Basin Masonry', an in-home office to be located at 13711 South Linda Marie Lane.
- Jamie S. Wei is seeking approval for a home-based business, 'Andi's Preschool', an in-home preschool to be located at 12832 South 1830 West.
- Nathan and Laura Kunz are requesting a General Plan amendment and Rezone of about 3.25-acres located near 11944 South 3600 West. The current General Plan Designation is 'Low Density Residential' the requested designation is 'Medium-high Density Residential'. The current zoning is R-3, the requested zoning is RM-6, which is a multi-family residential zone.
- Riverton City is proposing updates and changes to the Riverton City Standard Specifications and Plans Manual.
- Gloria Rodriguez is requesting approval for an amended commercial site plan for Little Geniuses Learning Center to be in an existing commercial building in the C-G Zone at 2464 West 12600 South. The application proposes to add a fenced play area on the north side of the existing building.
- Google, Inc. is proposing a utility hut located on property at the northeast corner of 4000 West and Innovation Drive.
This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission. Riverton City Hall is an accessible facility. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorders Office at 801-208-3126, at least two business days in advance of the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
