SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF ANNEXATION PROPOSAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON March 24, 2022 The City Recorder's office received the Notice of Intent to Annex at approximately Rose Park Lane and 2350 North (Hunter Stables). The Planning Division assigned PLNPCM2021-01124 to this application and the fee was paid. The municipality may grant the petition and annex the area described in the petition unless, between April 18th and May 18th at 5 PM, a written protest to the annexation petition is filed with the County Recorder's office located at 2001 State St N1-600, Salt Lake City, UT 84190, and a copy of the protest delivered to the City Recorder's office. The area proposed for annexation will automatically be annexed to a local district providing fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or a local district providing law enforcement service, as the case may be, if: the proposed annexing municipality is entirely within the boundaries of a local district - that provides fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or law enforcement service, respectively; and in the creation of which an election was not required; the area proposed to be annexed to the municipality is not already within the boundaries of the local district. The area proposed for annexation will be automatically withdrawn from a local district providing fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or a local district providing law enforcement service, as the case may be, if: the petition proposes the annexation of an area that is within the boundaries of a local district - that provides fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services or law enforcement service, respectively; and in the creation of which an election was not required; the proposed annexing municipality is not within the boundaries of the local district.
