The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting April 12, 2022, at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT or can be attended electronically at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82012093604?pwd=OXIxa1pBWWJLTys4NW1RR3k0c1dRUT09 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes - Mayor - March 8, 2022, Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30pm. - March 15, 2022, Work Session held at 5:00pm. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor Transaction Register dated 03/01/2022 to 03/31/2022 in the amount of ($379.36). 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 3/05/2022 to 4/08/2022 in the amount of $684,541.05. - Requisitions as needed 7. Presentation - Miss Mount Pleasant Contestants - Miss Mount Pleasant Contestants will present their platforms to the City Council. 8. Discussion/Action - Mayor - Discussion/Action-Fire Protection Agreement with Sanpete County - Discussion/Action-Vehicle Extrication Agreement with Sanpete County 9. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion/Action-Proposal to pursue a grant opportunity with Yoppify Software. 10. Discussion/Possible Action-Mayor - Discussion/Possible Action--Funding proposal from Community Impact Board (CIB) 11. Discussion/Action-Rondy G. Black - Discussion/Action--Proposal for upcoming road projects. 12. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 13. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 14. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 15. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 16. Go Into Closed Session-City Council Vote - Council will go into a Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code annotated 52-4-205 to: o Discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual 17.
