DOCUMENT 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TOOELE CITY, 90 NORTH MAIN STREET, TOOELE, UTAH 84074 General Notice: Tooele City (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Utah Avenue & Lodestone Way Intersection Signal Design Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the Owner in Room 227, of the Tooele City Municipal Offices located at 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074 until Thursday April 21, 2022 at 2:00 P.M local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Only Bids from Contractors listed on the UDOT Prequalified Contractor list with the appropriate classification for Traffic Signals will be accepted. The Project includes the following Work: Traffic signal installation including city furnished materials, per UDOT standards. The project also includes re-striping portions of Utah Ave. and Lodestone roadways. Bids will be received for single contract. The Project is expected to be substantially completed by August 31, 2022. Obtaining Bidding Documents: Information and Digital (pdf) copies of the Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained, starting at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 4, 2022 by contacting Emily Johnson, Jones & DeMille Engineering at (800) 748-5275 Ext. 600 or emily.j@jonesanddemille.com. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & DeMille Engineering, Inc., 775 West 1200 North, Suite 200, Springville, Utah 84663. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated websites and the Issuing Office. Pre-bid Conference: A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2022 at 11:00 A.M local time at Tooele City, 90 North Main, Tooele, Utah 84074, Ste. 224 (large conference room on the second floor). Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Instructions to Bidders: For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
