TREE COMMITTEE AGENDA April 5, 2022, at 8:00 AM 1020 E. Pioneer Rd. Draper, UT 84020 Administration Conference Room 1. Welcome and Introductions 1. Approval of Minutes from March 1, 2022 Meeting 2. Revised Street Tree Guide a. Proposal to have only one street tree guide - no longer have a General guide and a Commercial guide b. Content posted on the website and turned into a webpage c. Plans for City Council approval d. Plans to notify commercial developers that there is a requirement e. Discuss if there is a possibility to require new residential neighborhoods with HOAs to use the guide 3. Public Education a. Changes to website and plans to add additional links and content for tree selection b. Follow-up on Localscapes class series and planning for the next series c. Tree committee to create collateral on tree care and responsibilities to give residents when the city plants street trees. 4. City Updates a. Review concept plan of Parks & Recreation Conservation Garden. b. Arbor Day - April 29- Inauguration Park (321 West Inauguration Park Road) at 10 a.m. c. Project updates on projects that may require trees. d. Plans for resources for City code changes. e. Adoption of Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD) requirements. f. District (JVWCD) proposals and rebate programs g. City Hall landscape next steps and budget for additional landscaping. 2. Committee Member Reports 3.
