WEST VALLEY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING This meeting will be held in person in the City Council Chambers at West Valley City Hall 3600 Constitution Boulevard West Valley City, UT 84119, and electronically via Zoom at: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84610414968 Board of Adjustment Meeting 4/6/2022 @ 6:00 p.m. NON- CONFORMING USE DETERMINATION B-1-2022 BRIAN PITCHER has filed a petition with the West Valley City Board of Adjustment seeking a non-conforming use determination for existing storage units and RV parking. The request is to review and grant non-conforming use approval for those existing uses which according to the applicant have been in existence since 1977. The property is currently zoned R-1-8 (Single Unit Dwelling Residential, minimum lot size 8,000 square feet) and is located at 4270 South 4060 West. This section requires that the minimum side yard setback adjacent to a single family dwelling be 10 feet in the RE (Residential Estate) Zone. The applicant is requesting a variance of 4.3 feet in order to enclose an existing carport. The dwelling in question will be part of a new subdivision located at approximately 3716 South 5450 West.
