THE CITY OF WEST JORDAN, UTAH PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The West Jordan Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at which time input will be received prior to discussion and possible recommendation to the City Council concerning the proposed items: Welby West; 8945 South 4800 West; Future Land Use Map Amendment for 11.54 acres from Neighborhood Commercial to High Density Residential and Rezone from SC-2 (Community Shopping Center) Zone and R-1-10D (ZC) (Single-family residential 10,000 square foot minimum lots with zoning conditions) Zone to PRD(H) (Planned Residential Development - High Density) Zone and Master Development Plan; CanyonStone Capital/Todd Amberry (applicant) Text Amendment - Health Department/Board of Health; Amend the 2009 West Jordan City Code Sections 5-1-1 through 5-1-6 and adding Section 5-4-1 to replace the existing provisions of Title 5, Chapter 4; City of West Jordan Council Staff (applicant) Text Amendment - Pet Groomers; Amend the 2009 West Jordan City Code Section 13-5 Adding Pet Groomer to the M-1, A-1, A-5, A-20, and P-C Zoning Districts as a Permitted Use; City of West Jordan (applicant) Text Amendment - Fencing and Screening; Amend the 2009 West Jordan City Code Sections 13-14-4(C)(5): Removing number (5): 'No wall, fence or opaque hedge or screening material shall be installed or constructed within ten feet (10') of a right of way line.'
