December 1, 2021 The Planning commission met on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the public safety building located at 130 W. Main in Cleveland, Utah at 7:04 pm. Those present were commission members: Kit Andersen, Annie Andersen, Tracy Randall, Tyler Rowley, and Nancy Livingston. Town Council member Kristen Vose was in attendance. The meeting was opened with the pledge of allegiance. A motion was made by Nancy and seconded by Tyler to approve the minutes for the November meeting. Tracy, Tyler, and Nancy were in favor, with abstaining votes from Kit and Annie Andersen due to absence, motion carried. No Public Comment Item #1: Shawna Horrocks wants to put an addition on her house. Shawna wants to build a deck addition onto her house located at 225 N 700 E. Jeff Hole who is the contractor was in attendance with her to answer any questions. Shawna presented her plans for the addition showing property lines and how far the deck will extend. There will be a room for storage underneath part of the deck. It is 100 feet from the road and 40 feet from the side boundary which is within accordance with the residential zoning laws. Annie made a motion to approve the building request for the deck, seconded by Tyler. All were in favor, motion passed for the zoning clearance for the deck.
